David Duke: ‘We Have Lost Control Of Our Country’

PEARL, Miss. — They’re not exactly rooting for him, but prominent white supremacists anticipate a boost to their cause if Barack Obama becomes the first black president.
Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, of Louisiana, said Democrat Obama would be a “visual aid” to the idea that whites have lost control of America.
Duke, once a Democrat who became a Republican in 1988 and served in the Louisiana House of Representatives, posted an essay on his Web site in June titled, “Obama Wins Demo Nomination: A Black Flag for White America.”
Obama “will be a clear signal for millions of our people,” Duke wrote. “Obama is a visual aid for White Americans who just don’t get it yet that we have lost control of our country, and unless we get it back we are heading for complete annihilation as a people.”
Richard Barrett, a 65-year-old lawyer who traveled the country for 40 years advocating what he perceives as the white side in racial issues, is convinced Obama will defeat Republican John McCain in November.
One of the leaders in the Nationalist Movement, Barrett told The Associated Press in an interview at his rural Mississippi home that, “Instead of this so-called civil rights bill, for example, that says you have to give preferences to minorities, I think the American people are going — once they see the ‘Obamanation’ — they’re going to demand a tweaking of that and say, ‘You have to put the majority into office,'” Barrett said.
While most Americans have little or no direct contact with white supremacists, organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center keep close tabs; the law center estimates some 200,000 people nationwide are active in such groups.

There is a silver lining, though! Obama won only about (less than) 44% of the White vote. McCain had about 56%. This is according to Exit Poll results I saw on tv.
In a homegenous and (at least) semi-healthy White nation, McCain would have won.
We should remind fellow Whites of this, before they get too radical in idolizing Obama.
Of the two, naturally I would have liked to see McCain win, for many reasons. But, these reasons are, at best, superficial.
While I agree with McCain’s stand against Abortion, I thoroughly disagree with his acceptance of what most Democrats, and our glorious President champions, which is Amnesty for 30 million Illegal Aliens. I am 100% against such a plan.
Then there are such agreements that have really hurt our once robust economy, such as NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT, and the FTAA. More Americans have lost good paying jobs, in our Manufacturing sector, then just about any other type of work.
America has almost completely dismantled its Heavy Industry. How can a Nation hope to be a world power, without a powerhouse of an economic engine that drives the Country?
Our Military is not our sole source of our power, and I would suggest, it is an outgrowth of our economic power.
Not too many years ago, Americans could graduate High School, and many times, go to work in the same Plants and Factories, that their Fathers and Grandfathers had worked for, all while making a good living wage, which enabled them to buy homes, and raise families.
Now, thanks to Bill Clinton pushing, and then signing, NAFTA, many of our Manufatcuring jobs have been sent over to Communist China, as well as Mexico.
And just what does Communist China send to the United States? Children’s toys that are full of toxic lead, as well as Halloween Candy that contains Melamine, which is an Industrial resin, which is extremely toxic to young children, and can cause death.
No, I voted for Ron Paul. I wrote in Ron Paul for President, because this Nation has strayed from the foundation of its principles, which is the United States Constitution.
We need to have money that is backed by precious metal, so it has actual value.
We need to protect our Sovereignty as a Nation, and put our Country and its people first among Nations.
